Dray’s been DJ’ing over 25 years, starting at the age of 11! It all started when he played cassette tapes for an 8 grader’s birthday party, and at the time he was only in 6th grade.
From there being a DJ was all he could think about. He would go on to DJ’d many High School dances, any parties he could do, and of course weddings. His dream was to become a radio disc jockey (which came true) and was blessed to be able to start DJin'g clubs the day he turned 21.
Having a huge passion for music, he wanted to make people happy by picking out & playing the best music while taking requests. “I’m an open format DJ. My goal is to make sure all guests are having fun all while the client knows I am there for them”.
My regular day job revolves around music as well. I’m a DJ & Emcee for Nor Cal Pro Sound, but also an accomplished radio DJ host & currently the Program Director/On-air jock for 100.9FM & 96.7 BOBFM in Sonoma County!

We hired Nor Cal Pro Sound for our wedding in Kenwood this last June. They were very easy and professional to work with from the beginning. I was extremely excited when we were set up with DJ Dray Lopez for our big day, because we’d met him in the past (he’s friends with one of our bridesmaids) and we already knew how good he was at keeping the party going. Dray was very responsive and worked with us up to the big day to make sure he had every detail in check. Everything, from the ceremony and cocktail hour music, to the lighting and all of the announcements he made went off flawlessly. The best part of the night (besides the ceremony) was definitely the dance party at the end of the night. Dray did such a great job getting our guests on the floor dancing, and we had so much fun we didn’t want the night to end. We’ve had so many friends and family members tell us that this was the best time they’d had at a wedding, and so we’re so happy we went with Norcal Pro Sound and DJ Dray. I’d highly recommend them to anyone and will be using their services again for future events.”

We worked with Alex who was super helpful in the process of getting stared, picking a DJ and entering songs into the data base.
DJ Dray made the experience a day to remember. He listened!!! He played all our songs, our favs and gave me the dance party of a life time. My uncles all want a CD of cocktail and dinner because our song list was that good. Yes we chose 98% of it, but he seamlessly strung them together and masterfully organized it.
